1971 – 2011 40 years of history
The Montecolino Spa, a leading European company in the production of flooring, coatings and textiles for industrial and domestic use, owes its name to the homonymous promontory on Lake Iseo. It was here that, after the Second War World, the Bettoni brothers established the first textile plant; a traditional family business which it seems dates back to the late 1800s.
During the early 1970s the Bettoni brothers decided to cease trading. At this time,a Belgian businessman, active in the field of wall coverings, sent his manager, Carlo Fontana, to find a site where he could establish a production factory, dedicated to the production of non-woven fabrics. It was1971.. the begin of the modern Montecolino Spa.
In 1976 the company was forced to transfer to the near-by town of Provaglio d'Iseo, as expansion in the Montecolino area was impossible. This led to the building of the new plant. Subsequently, the controlling share package passed from the Belgian entrepreneur to the Italian manager.
Today the Montocolino Spa has a structure of 54.000 m2 in an area of 120.000 m2, a production potential of more than 15 million m2 and more than 3,000 active and satisfied customers. Clients range from large-scale production to small retailers, from floor-layers to exhibition stands, from advertising agency to architects, from footwear industries to shipyards, from garden centres to decorators...

TERNATE COATING SRL was founded in 1984 to specialize the production and activities of 2 leading companies in the sector of textile finishing: TBM SPA and GASPARE TRONCONI SPA.
These companies were specialized in the processing of textile and clothing; however, they decided to approach some new niche markets by opening a new company: TERNATE COATING.
The deep knowledge of the field of textile production allowed TERNATE to move towards the production of new products as coated and calenderer PVC, PU and methylmethacrylate, which require similar working processes of textile.
The small dimension of this company has been an advantage throughout the years, allowing a high production flexibility and a personalization of the products, thus satisfying the requirements of different clients.

Sabbie Industriali Srl is a small but dynamic company, which skilfully captured the market, becoming a leader in Italy in the sale of silica and quartz sand for the world of sport and leisure.
The company supplies silica sand, quartz sand with high silica content and ceramic coated sand (colored) to infill artificial turf pitches and landscape grass. Silica sand is extracted in Italy, while the quartz sands with high silica content comes from deposits located abroad.
They especially recommend the use of silica sand for football and multisport pitches, while ceramic colored sand perfectly suits to tennis courts as it is available in four differents colours: green, blue, bright red and dark red. They also supply brown ceramic sand which is mostly used for the infill of landscape turf.
