Sport Eventi ECO INFILL range includes TPE and EPDM rubber.

The TPE we supply is an innovative product manufactured by API and it is a special compound of TPE and TPU which grants not only a high elasticity and softness, but also an excellent resistance to ageing and low temperatures.

No recycled products are used in the production of TPE. On the contrary, it can be recycled at the end of its life, making it an environmentally friendly solution.

Our Megolinfield is available in green and brown in the following granulometries:

Compared to SBR and  EPDM, TPE has several advantages:

-          It does not contains heavy metals, nor toxic chemical elements which could be injurious to health or the environment.

-          The production process does not include vulcanization what means that no chemical additive is used, so that the product is perfectly healthy. For that reason TPE can be put in contact with the eyes and mouth without any danger and, therefore, it is suitable to be used in children playgrounds to infill artificial turf.

-          It can be recycled through thermal fusion ed used again ; it is an ecological product, then.

-          TPE granules are not coated but they are produced through thermal fusion therefore they are internally colored what grants an excellent colour resistance to ageing, UV and bad weather

-          High weathering stability (the granules do not stick to each other even under high temperatures)

-          High area coverage (you can use less TPE than SBR or EPDM to infill the same surface of artificial turf)

On the contrary, EPDM is a well-know product on the market for its different applications (infill of football pitches, athletic tracks, children playgrounds). The product is available in a wide range of colours and in different granulometries. EPDM granules are non-toxic and therefore considered environmentally friendly.
