The performance of an artificial turf surface depends on the the whole system, which entails four main components: the sub-base, the technical foam base, the artificial grass carpets and the infill.

That’s why Sport Eventi has introduced also a foam shockpad in its wide product range.

The Hivepad is a 12mm physically crosslinked closed-cell polyolefin foam specially developed and designed for use as sport and landscape technical layer for artificial turf. It is delivered in rolls of 1,95m x 85 m.

It can be installed under nearly any weather conditions. Unlike many sheet materials, it rolls out flat, making installation easy and saving time. It can be installed over any normal sub-base and covered with any type of artificial grass mat.

Its main properties are high shock absorption, energy restitution and deformation values. Its excellent compressive creep performance makes it suitable for use outside.

The Hivepad is inert, non-biodegradable and releases no harmful chemicals or gases known to pollute soil, water or air. The material can be easily recycled like other foams.
